Getting Back to Ringing

Following the easing of restrictions surrounding Covid-19 the Ringing Centre is offering a series of “Recovery & Refresher Sessions” for those who are concerned about returning to ringing after a long break. These sessions will cover everything from basic handling to refresher sessions on simple method ringing and everything between. Ringers will be offered one to one tuition in any aspect as well as small group sessions. Anyone who has access to this information is invited, but places will be allocated on a first come first served basis to those who complete their details below. Waiting lists will be formed if there is over subscription. Please do not turn up to a session without an invitation. All who apply must agree to the terms within the form. Please complete all details below and ‘submit’ the form, I shall then contact you with an invitation to a session or advise that you are on a waiting list.

If you are a ringer who is already confident about ringing but would like to offer your support as a helper please contact me separately!

For the past 6 weeks we have been monitoring CO2 levels in the ringing chamber when ringing for services and at time and people limited practices. We have taken measures to increase ventilation during ringing and will constantly monitor CO2 levels during these refresher sessions and may evacuate the ringing chamber for short periods if the levels become high. (We have not needed to evacuate yet.) We will keep the numbers in the ringing chamber to no more than 10 people, there will be safe havens for others to sit or study theory information whilst waiting.
