The Winning Team 2022

Following on from the success of our first Hat striking competition in York last year, 32 ringers gathered together at Thorner on the 2nd July for our 2022 competition. Each of the four bands was drawn from a number of graded hats to ensure that each was as equal in strength as possible. For many this was to be their first opportunity to ring in a Striking Competition and with each other. The standard of the ringing was very consistant throughout. 

The weather was very kind to us, so with chairs out in the sun along with plenty of refreshments and chat we all had a very social if not slightly competitive afternoon.
