

The Sheffield & District Branch area includes the city of Sheffield and the town of Rotherham as well as many village and parish churches in South Yorkshire. It has boundaries with Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire and with the YACR Central Branch to the north.
There are over 200 members ringing at the 25 towers which include two rings of 12, two rings of 10, twelve rings of 8, five rings of 6 and four rings of 3.
The branch has a CCCBR recognised Ringing Centre at Ecclesfield.
Activities organised by the branch include monthly ringing meetings, usually on the first Saturday of the month, an annual ringing outing, an annual striking contest, quarter peal days, educational training courses and social events.
The University of Sheffield and Sheffield Hallam University student ringers are members of the Sheffield University Guild of Change Ringers based at The Cathedral Church of St Marie.
Members are kept informed by a monthly newsletter, by email and the YACR - Sheffield & District Branch Facebook page.
