At the branch AGM on Saturday 11th January the Treasurer’s Report highlighted the expenditure of the branch account. For a number of years the branch has paid the tower donations for the branch annual outing in October. Since 2022 the branch has paid a tower donation to all branch events. This extra expenditure is not sustainable and therefore was raised at the branch AGM.

There was a branch committee meeting on Sunday 23rd February and the branch account was discussed. It was decided to remain with the branch to pay tower donations for the branch annual outing in October. The branch will no longer pay tower donations for any other branch events. At branch events there will be a collection for a voluntary donation to the host towers.
